Oceania Cruises — The Finest Cuisine at Sea, Now Fresh Kosher
Something new, and we are genuinely excited about it. Fresh Kosher Cruises is bringing freshly prepared Glatt Kosher dining to Oceania Cruises — the line widely regarded as having the finest cuisine at sea. Six sailings are open now on Oceania Allura and Oceania Marina, from the Caribbean and the Panama Canal to the Mediterranean and the Greek Isles.
One thing to know up front: the kosher galley space aboard supports a maximum of 24 guests, so that is where the program is capped — and these sailings are adults only. It makes for a smaller, quieter, more grown-up experience than our larger group sailings.
What Makes This Different
- Freshly prepared onboard — no frozen trays. Every dish is made fresh at sea, every day.
- Glatt Kosher supervision — full-time mashgiach supervision throughout the sailing, under Rabbi Aharon Chein and the Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO).
- The Grand Dining Room — kosher meals are served in Oceania's main restaurant, open seating, elegantly plated and served course by course.
- Shabbat in style — fresh challah and Kiddush, hot cholent, a generous deli spread, and all three Shabbat meals.
- Wine you will actually want to drink — Oceania stocks a genuine kosher wine list (Herzog Special Reserve, Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Shiloh, Binyamina, Segal's), and you may bring up to six bottles per stateroom aboard at embarkation.

What's Included
Freshly prepared Glatt Kosher breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in every displayed cabin fare, along with Wi-Fi and shipboard gratuities. Fresh Kosher fare is required to participate in the program.
Before You Book
Two things worth saying plainly. First, these sailings are adults only — the Fresh Kosher group on Oceania is 18+. Second, the 24-guest cap is a kitchen constraint, not a marketing one: that is simply how many guests the kosher galley space aboard can properly serve. Because the group is necessarily that small, prayer services and a minyan are not guaranteed on these Oceania sailings. Guests may of course coordinate prayers when a quorum happens to be aboard, but daily or Shabbat services, Torah reading, and a dedicated prayer room are not part of this program. Kashrut supervision is provided independently of any prayer arrangements.
To be clear, this is the exception and not the rule. On our other Fresh Kosher sailings — Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Princess — the groups are far larger, and minyanim and Torah readings are available onboard. If davening with a minyan is part of what you are looking for, start there and we will point you to the right sailing.
