Norwegian Epic — Western Caribbean Winter 2027
Escape the winter chill with a week of sunshine, sea breeze, and the ease of knowing every meal is taken care of. Fresh Kosher Cruises is sailing the Norwegian Epic out of Port Canaveral this winter on three separate Western Caribbean departures — so you can pick the week that fits your family, your school break, or your Yeshiva Week plans.
The Ship: Norwegian Epic
The Epic is one of Norwegian’s most beloved ships — big enough to offer real variety (20+ dining venues, Broadway-style theater, sprawling pool decks, a sports complex, and one of the largest kids’ and teens’ programs at sea), and small enough that you won’t feel lost. Relaxed, flexible, and family-friendly from the moment you board.
Three Sailings, Same Itinerary
Every sailing is a 7-night roundtrip from Port Canaveral, Florida, departing Sunday and returning the following Sunday. Choose the week that works for you:
- Dec 27 – Jan 3 — Ring in the New Year at sea. Perfect for professionals with end of year vacations.
- Jan 24 – 31 — Our Yeshiva Week sailing. Expect a full boat of familiar faces, extra programming, and the warmest hospitality.
- Feb 7 – 14 — A dedicated sailing for Latin American vacations with the same great food and itinerary.
Ports of Call
Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas — Norwegian’s private island. White sand, crystal water, hammocks in the shade, and a full beach-day setup. Nothing to plan; just show up.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica — Home of Dunn’s River Falls. Climb the falls, ride a bamboo raft down the White River, or stay in town and browse the craft market.
George Town, Grand Cayman — Seven Mile Beach is a short ride from the pier, and Stingray City is one of the most unforgettable excursions in the Caribbean. Crystal-clear snorkeling right off the beach.
Cozumel, Mexico — World-class snorkeling and diving on the Mesoamerican Reef, plus easy beach clubs, Mayan ruins day trips, and great shopping near the pier.
What’s Included
- Fresh kosher meals prepared on board by our dedicated culinary team — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Shabbat meals
- Daily minyanim (Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv) with a full Sefer Torah
- Shabbat at Sea — a full, beautiful Shabbat on the water, with challah, wine, and zmirot
- Separate dining space reserved for our group

Kashrut You Can Count On
All food service is under the supervision of Rabbi Aharon Chein of the Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO). A mashgiach temidi is on board for the entire sailing — from loading the food in Port Canaveral through the final meal before disembarkation. Glatt, Chalav Yisrael, Pat Yisrael, and Bishul Yisrael standards throughout. Read more about what makes a kosher cruise truly kosher.
Who This Is For
Families with kids of any age (the Epic’s youth programs are a game-changer), couples looking for a relaxing week away, multi-generational groups, singles looking to meet other frum travelers, and anyone who’d rather spend vacation on the beach than in the kitchen.
